Link-To-Us Instructions for Freshwater Fisheries, click to return to fisheries home

The Division of Freshwater Fisheries welcomes and encourages links to our pages to help promote fishing as a great form of outdoor recreation, which enables people to get together on the water to relax and enjoy nature while reconnecting with family and friends. We suggest you use the main link to our site as described below. However, our site also offers numerous resources to enable anglers to become informed about how easy fishing can be (tips, how to get a license, fish identification, where the current hot fishing spots are (sites/forecasts), to find local boat ramps or fishing piers, to get answers to frequently asked questions or find out the latest news or program updates. You are welcome to link to any of those pages directly and provided you give credit and a link back to our site, you are permitted to copy content to your page. The one thing we ask is that for rules and regulations you do NOT copy the material directly onto your site, since rules are subject to changes at any time, and we do not want out-dated information placed on your site to result in arrest of a well-meaning angler. Rather you can use a javascript to serve our up-to-date information onto your site, if you like (see here for instructions).

You can insert the following text on your page to link to the Division of Freshwater Fisheries and/or to post an advertisement for the Bass Tag. Sale of the bass tag for vehicles and trailers helps to support both fish and wildlife conservation in Florida. Web masters can use either or both links as they see fit, but this is our preferred format and are free to download the images to their server or link to us. There is also a text only format to choose from.
