Investigators with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) are investigating a boating accident that left a 49-year old Miami-Dade County man dead.

Arron K. Clevenger, was on a fishing trip with another man, 51-year-old Terry C. Troup, also of Miami-Dade County.  The men hit rough water off Key Largo last night.  Their 19-foot boat began taking on water and capsized, throwing both men in the water.  At that time, the men donned their life jackets.  Both men were hanging on to the boat when, it appears, Clevenger suffered a heart attack in the water and died.

Troup tied the body to the boat and drifted until daybreak.  A good Samaritan spotted the boat and called 911.  An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
