FWC offers bowhunting course in Miami-Dade County March 12, 2009 Contact: Lynne Hawk, 561-625-5122 The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will host a bowhunting course March 21 and 22 in Miami-Dade County. Have you ever wondered how the hunter fits into modern-day conservation efforts? Are you concerned about how to handle a bow and arrow? These are just a couple of the instructional areas covered in the FWC’s bowhunting course. Students will receive hands-on experience shooting a bow and arrow on the range. Students are encouraged to bring their own bowhunting equipment. The FWC requires attendance on both days. The free bowhunting course will be at Camp Owasa Baur, 17001 S.W. 264th St., Homestead.
