FWC requests public input on 640-acre-game-farm rule April 27, 2009 Contact: Capt. Linda Harrison, 850-488-6253 The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is asking the public to provide input on the requirement that game farms be no larger than 640 acres. This requirement, established in the 1920s, currently applies to owners of game farms, where game birds and game mammals are typically raised for possession, propagation, food production or restocking.
