Florida's State Wildlife Grants are awarded to eligible grant recipients on a competitive basis, typically once per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).  A new grant cycle is NOW open for 2009!

Application and Submission Instructions

Grant criteria and additional application and submission instructions are located in the annual Notice for Grant Cycle PDF.

Applicants should obtain a copy of Florida's State Wildlife Grants Program Guidelines PDF (116KB) for detailed explanations, instructions and guidance.  The applications must include each of the following sections arranged in this order:

Submission deadlines

Submit applications electronically via three files- 1) Application cover, 2) Scope of Work, and 3) Budget Sheet.  Additionally, one (1) paper copy of each application is required to be mailed to the Grant Coordinator for each submission.  All application materials must be received prior to the final submittal deadline.

  • October 15 - Deadline for final submission - applications are due by 5:00 p.m. EST
