Established status: Populations are confirmed breeding and apparently self-sustaining for 10 or more consecutive years.

Estimated Florida range: 2 counties At least 10 years

Statewide trend: Unknown status

Threats to natives: Impact on native species unknown. However in California goats have negatively impacted island habitats. Eliminating endemic species totally.

Species Account: Feral goats had established a population on St. George Island (Franklin County) from 1970 to 1980. On Bumblebee Island in Lake Istokpoga, Highlands County, a population of up to 20 has existed since the 1960s.
