Despite the bitter cold, approximately 100 people attended the event, and 56 unwanted nonnative pets were surrendered on site. These included 3 fish, 4 birds, 6 mammals, 13 turtles, 13 lizards and 17 snakes. All surrendered animals were placed with adopters onsite. Ten animals have been surrendered post-event and have been placed with adopters.
