Species Account: This species' origin and native country are uncertain. It has been domesticated and is in captivity worldwide. It needs to be heavily fed to maintain a population in the wild. It is believed that the Ringed Turtle-Dove is interbreeding with the Eurasian Collared Dove in Pinellas County. This species is believed to have been or is now present in at least 20 counties. Individual counties are not listed.
