Adaptive Equipment for the Blind Permit

Persons who are legally blind may obtain a permit to use adaptive equipment on a gun or bow that would otherwise be illegal.

To apply, send a letter to the FWC Office of Licensing and Permitting detailing the type of adaptive equipment that will be used. Please be as descriptive as possible. Medical certification confirming the applicant is legally blind must be attached to the request, along with the applicant?s name, address and phone number(s).

Reminder: The Adaptive Equipment for the Blind Permit is valid only in conjunction with other licenses, permits and quota permits required for the area being hunted.
