Ocklawaha Prairie Small Game Hunting Area

            As directed by Chapter 373, Florida Statutes (FS), the District seeks to preserve natural resources, fish and wildlife, and whenever practical, to open lands to the general public for recreational use.  Areas open to hunting include Orange Creek. Emeralda Marsh, and Ocklawaha Prairie Small Game Hunting Areas.

       Orange Creek and Ocklawaha Prairie SGA require a District daily group hunting permit which can be obtained wherever hunting licenses are sold. Worksheets are available below.
