The Good Angler station is required in order to use the Kids' Fishing Activity Box.  This station teaches participants about the importance of being stewards to Florida's marine resources and goes over ethical angling techniques such as catch and release, proper handling of fish, and following regulations.

 

Participant and Volunteer registration forms are also required as part of the Kids' Fishing Activity Box.  Forms must be filled out by every participant and volunteer that is part of the event.  This information is used by FWC to help make the programs as successful as possible.

 

The Kids' Fishing Activity box will be mailed out free of charge, but it is required that the recipient return the box to the Outreach and Education section of the Division of Marine Fisheries Management as soon as the event is complete.  Return shipping is not covered by FWC.
