The Orlando Fisheries Office is the official headquarters of the Fish Orlando! program. Fish Orlando! is a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) program designed to:
· Provide convenient quality fishing opportunities in the greater Orlando area by managing resources based on scientific methodologies and communication with our stakeholders.
· Promote freshwater fishing in the greater Orlando area with a focus on resident and nonresident families.
The program is accomplished through partnerships with local government, private business, and volunteer/civic groups. The end result is quality fishing opportunities for our constituents, which in turn creates appreciation and support for our fisheries resources.
