Hunting Opportunities

 Father and Son hunters

  • Youth Hunting Program of Florida – Provides young people 12 to 17 years of age an opportunity to experience hunting and learn about conservation. Youth accompanied by a parent or guardian can take part in safe, educational, mentored hunts for deer, turkey, hogs, waterfowl, small game and more.
  • Special Youth Seasons – The FWC has created special youth hunting seasons where youth 15 and younger can hunt under the supervision of a non-hunting adult.
  • Public Hunting Opportunities – Thanks to many partners and cooperators, Florida offers diverse and exciting public hunting opportunities throughout the state.
