FWC investigating deadly boating accident

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
(FWC) law enforcement officers are investigating a boating accident
that occurred Monday afternoon in Biscayne Bay. Two people died as
a result of the accident.
Two racing boats were travelling at a high rate of
speed when they collided with each other south of Cape Florida,
according to FWC investigators.
Steven Posner (DOB 01/11/43) and Clive Warwick (DOB
02/13/50), both of Aventura, died from injuries sustained in the
collision. Both men were passengers in the first vessel. The
medical examiner will determine the cause of death for both
victims.
The operator of the first vessel, Stuart Posner
(DOB 09/21/46) of North Miami Beach, is currently hospitalized with
serious injuries. The operator of the second vessel, Friedrich
Eigelshoven (DOB 10/12/83) of Fort Lauderdale, was treated for
minor injuries.
The FWC is leading the investigation.
