The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission (FWC) will hold a public hearing for the Andrews
Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Management Plan on Thursday, Jan.
27.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive
public comment regarding considerations for the development of the
FWC's 10-year management plan for the Andrews WMA, located in Levy
County. Components of the draft management plan will be presented
to the public, followed by a question-and-answer session and public
testimony. The meeting will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. at the City of
Fanning Springs office, 17651 NW 90th Court in Fanning Springs.
A management prospectus for the Andrews WMA is
available upon request from the FWC, Conservation Acquisition and
