FWC offers hunter safety course in Escambia Co.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is
offering a free hunter safety course in Escambia County.
The course will be at W.J. Woodham Middle School, 150 E. Burgess
Road, in Pensacola. Instruction is from 6 to 9 p.m. June 7, 9, 14
and 16. The range portion of the class will be June 18 from 7 to 10
People who have taken the Internet course and wish to complete
the classroom portion must bring the online-completion report and

An adult must accompany children under the age of 16 at all
times. Students should bring a pencil and paper with them to take
People born on or after June 1, 1975, must successfully complete
an approved hunter safety course before they can purchase a Florida
hunting license. The FWC course satisfies hunter safety training
requirements for all other states and Canadian provinces.
