Shands Bridge boat ramp closed for renovation

The Shands Bridge boat ramp in Clay County will be closed from Feb. 25 through March 22 for renovation, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials.
The boat ramp is off State Road 16 in Green Cove Springs.
“We are planning on constructing a new boat ramp,” said Tim Gilley, construction projects consultant with the FWC. “This will provide improved access for boaters recreating in the St. Johns River.”
