The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is holding a meeting to discuss Orange Lake aquatic plant management issues.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3, at the Waccasassa Forestry Center, 5353 NE 39th Blvd. in Gainesville. This meeting space is handicap-accessible.

The FWC is interested in gathering stakeholder input about large-scale management of floating tussock vegetation.
