Due to recent rainfall, about a half-mile portion of McLemore Road on Gores Landing Wildlife Management Area (WMA) has become impassable and is closed until March 28 to vehicle traffic.

The partial closure is about midway along McLemore Road, the main road that runs north and south in the WMA. The closure could affect those planning to hunt during the youth and spring turkey season, which opens March 8.
