FWC conducts aquatic plant control on Lake Rousseau

The FWC will conduct aquatic plant control on Lake Rousseau from Sept. 5 through Sept. 15, weather permitting. Invasive hydrilla will be treated only in boat trails, but water lettuce and water hyacinth will be treated throughout the lake. 

Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic promises day of learning, fun

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic for children between the ages of 5 and 15 from 9 a.m. to noon March 26 at Sunglow Fishing Pier, 3701 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach. 

Community meeting in Indian Harbour Beach on coyotes set for Feb. 11

January 26, 2016 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) met with officials from the city of Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach to discuss partnering on an upcoming public meeting on coyotes. At that meeting, biologists will give a presentation and will be available to address questions and concerns from residents regarding coyotes.
