Free fishing derby for youth at Tenoroc Fish Management Area

March 27, 2015 

The FWC is sponsoring a free youth freshwater fishing derby at Tenoroc Fish Management Area and Youth Conservation Center in Lakeland on April 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. No fishing license is required on this particular weekend but participants must preregister for the derby.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering a free hunter safety Internet-completion course in Broward County. The course will be held at Gun World of South Florida, 1700 South Powerline Road, Deerfield Beach on Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
