Community meeting in Indian Harbour Beach on coyotes set for Feb. 11

January 26, 2016 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) met with officials from the city of Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach to discuss partnering on an upcoming public meeting on coyotes. At that meeting, biologists will give a presentation and will be available to address questions and concerns from residents regarding coyotes.

FWC Facts:
The organism that causes red tide in Florida, Karenia brevis, owes its name to a state researcher of harmful algal blooms, Dr. Karen Steidinger.
