Fees

A Daily-Use Permit is required to enter this area, unless you have purchased a Wildlife Management Area Permit. To hunt or fish you must also possess the appropriate license and permit.

Public Access

The area is open to public access every day from 8:00 am to sunset. All visitors must register at the kiosk at the main entrance. Seasonal rains sometimes flood portions of trails and roads. Individuals possessing a valid quota hunt permit may operate vehicles on named and numbered roads during hunts. The Florida National Scenic Trail traverses the area and is open to hikers year-round.  Vehicle use regulations.

Location

Located in Orange County, about 25 miles east of Orlando, near the community of Christmas. From Orlando, take S.R. 50 east to town of Christmas and turn right on Taylor Creek Road, 3 miles to entrance on left.
