Anglers can tell FWC about their Florida fishing experiences and opinions on fishing issues.
If you go fishing in Florida’s marine waters, FWC researchers want to learn about your experiences and opinions through the Florida Saltwater Fishing Panel. Anyone with a valid Florida saltwater fishing license or Persons with Disabilities Resident Hunting and Fishing License, as well as exempt residents age 65 and older, can sign up to take part in the panel.
After completing a brief online registration form, you will become a panel member and have access to monthly Web-based surveys. The Web-based surveys will gather information about how much you fish and where you fish, as well as other details about your fishing habits. Your survey responses will provide valuable information about recreational saltwater fishing in Florida that will contribute to the fisheries management process.
The panel is a partnership between FWC and Michigan State University designed to gather information about fishing in Florida. To learn more and to register to become a panel member, visit the Florida Saltwater Fishing Panel website.
