Filming begins with a clapperboard

Just like filming in Hollywood, the Coral Reef/Hardbottom Monitoring Project films a clapperboard before videotaping a transect. The clapperboard contains such information as: date, location and who is behind the camera.

FWC Facts:
White and brown shrimp depend on estuaries as nursery habitats, leaving when they reach 4-5 inches in length. This “shrimp run” occurs in late summer or early fall.
