The following map shows the location of all sturgeon strikes that have occurred on the Suwannee River documented by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. This map shows strikes that have occurred from 2006 through 2009.

FWC Facts:
Shrimping is done at night because at least two of the principal shrimp species harvested in Florida, the pink shrimp and the brown shrimp, are nocturnal.
