Turtle caught in line

Marine turtles occasionally get entangled in crab or lobster trap lines. As the number of traps used in Florida increases, the number of entanglements are expected to increase as well.

Manatees can travel up to 50 miles in a day. They generally swim slowly but have been clocked at speeds of up to 15 mph for short bursts.
