General Information
Long-term solutions to resolving problematic lighting may include changing light fixtures or lamps, reducing pole heights, or adding shielding. Such options may take some time and require additional funding to implement. In the interim, we would like to offer Florida counties, cities, and beachfront property owners the opportunity to participate in FWC's shield loan program. If you property has NEMA head style lights (often found in parking lots) or wall-mounted wall-pack lights (commonly found along walkways and at property entrances) that have been identified as problematic and you would like free shields for these lights, please complete the shield loan form and return it via mail to FWC's Tequesta Field Lab. Once this information is received, FWC will contact you regarding the availability of shields.

Please note that all NEMA head shields are currently out on loan (as of May 2007) - please check back here or with our office for further updates on availability.
