Recent Changes

We have discontinued the "Non-nesting Shorebird Observation Data" website, and are instead encouraging observers to submit their non-nesting shorebird/seabird data to eBird. If you are unfamiliar with eBird, don't fret, this free online tool is very user-friendly and provides a comprehensive easy-to-follow tutorial on how to enter your sightings. In addition, eBird is loaded with extra features that are sure to make management of your experiences in birdwatching more rewarding.

By combining our efforts with eBird, it allows us to consolidate our information with the rest of North America and thereby improve our understanding of migration and seasonal distribution across the entire continent. Please note, eBird does not replace the beach-nesting bird database since eBird is not structured for nest/colony monitoring.
