FWC's Geocaching Challenge

Geocaching is an outdoor modern-day treasure hunt.  Caches are hidden items ranging in size and contain a logbook and tradeable items such as coins and other trinkets. All you need to participate is a GPS unit or a smart phone.

Look for 49 geocaches on FWC’s lead Wildlife Management Areas. The coordinates to each cache include descriptions and instructions necessary to find them. If you find them all before 31 December, 2017 you are eligible for prizes from FWC and you may get your picture on our website!

How do I Participate

FWC Facts:
The spatulate bill of the roseate spoonbill has sensitive nerve endings that help it detect prey, and the shape helps the bird move sediment and catch the prey.
