Finance and Budget

The Finance and Budget Office is responsible for the FWC's accounting and operational services and for central agency budget support for all programs and offices.

The Accounting section is responsible for financial activities. The Office Services section is responsible for operational activities including mail handling services, property records maintenance, annual property inventory, general and preventive maintenance on the agency' Bryant Building headquarters, employee purchasing assistance and coordination of agency purchasing processes and contracts.

The Regional Service Center section includes staff distributed to FWC's five regional offices, the St. Petersburg headquarters of FWRI and the Tallahassee headquarters. These staff members support regional biological and law enforcement staff in the areas of budget management, procurement, asset management and other responsibilities of the Finance and Budget Office.

The office has 76 employees.
